*पुणे :-* The Director of USISME Council India Mr. Michael Waidande met Shri Sharad Pawar on his 80 Birth-day at his residence Silver Oaks in Mumbai. To personally give the news of an award from U.S.A on the occasion of his Birth-day celebrations. Shri Pawar has been chosen to be presented with an Award-Citation from "The Governor of Maryland" - United States of America for his 50 years of remarkable public service and outstanding leadership.
Mr. Pawar was also presented with a special Edition Book "Gifted Hand", by Dr. Ben Carson. The 1 surgeon to perform surgery on Co-joined twins (1985). Presently Dr. Carson is the Secretary of State for Urban development U.S.A. An American delegation led by Mr. Elisha Bob Puliverti will come in the month of Feb/March to felicitate shri Pawar with Citation Award
