Memorandum of Understanding between Pimpri Chinchwad Startup Incubation Centre (PCSIC) and Savitribai Phule Pune University is a part of path breaking agreement between two parties where SPPU’s CIIE shall provide the following Support:
पुणे :- SPPU’s CIIE shall provide 1. Advisory support to PCSIC in the following areas: i. Identification & onboarding new start-ups at PCSIC ii. Policy framework for start-ups iii. Mentoring of Start-ups (Existing/New) 2. Providing Technical Knowledge and support 3. Training sessions (online/offline) 4. Hackathon/Events and Promotional programs for start-ups 5. Connecting with various institutions with necessary help for start-ups 6. Connecting start-ups to investor 7. Frequent meeting with PCSIC authorities for upgradation programs and offerings. 8. Visit to successful projects and learning PCSIC shall provide following support : 1. Incubation Space at nominal charges. 2. Necessary Hardware/Wi-Fi Internet 3. Prototype Development of component at Auto Cluster Premises at Reasonable Rates. 4. Operating Expenses of Necessary Manpower for Start-up support activity. 5. Recruitment of Necessary Manpower for Start-up support activity. 6. Industry Support with help of MCCIA for start-up for taking up further the new ideas/projects which are successful. 7. Scrutinizing of Start-ups at PCSIC 8. Co-ordination with PCSIC and other Incubation Centres with the help of MCCIA Dr. Shravan Hardikar – Commissioner, PCMC, Shri. Nilkanth Poman, Chief Information & Technology Officer, Shri. Kiran Vaidya, Managing Director, Auto Cluster Development & Research Institute were present from PCMC while Dr. Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor, Dr. N.S.Umarani, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Apoorva Palkar, Director, IIL & Dr. Prafulla Pawar, Registrar were present for signing of the agreement. This will help & support startups in PCMC area to get access to all support from SPPU’s CIIE while startups from CIIE will get access to all the infrastructure facilities at Auto Cluster at a concessional rate for research and project development.
