To address concerns of citizens regarding 144 CrPC orders; (vehicular permissions, exemptions etc.), Pune police has set up a dedicated Grievance Redressal Team comprising of 5 staff in the day and 2 staff in night, and being supervised by a DCP rank officer.
We have given 4 dedicated wtsap numbers to citizens on which they can send their queries, doubts, concerns. These numbers have been circulated widely on wtsap groups and social media.

Once a request is reviewed, they are being sent a confirmation message from same wtsap number regarding their query/exemption request.
Till now, we have got 2246 calls out of which 1200 calls pertaining to today’s concerns, 866 have been replied. Grievances regarding serious ailments, hospital visits, urgent airport travel, emergency scenario are being helped on priority.
Regarding concerns regarding companies, their requests are being taken through email, and digital permits are being issued too.
As of now, only problem is being faced in Mandai, and issue is being sorted out.
